• The Google Wallet app for Android is adding online order tracking in the US, which can pull "detailed receipts, tracking numbers, and shipping status" from Gmail.
• The app will display "orders that are arriving soon" on its homepage alongside passes, with a "View more" button to access all orders, and will show "orders arriving today or in transit" at the top.
• To view online orders, users can tap the "View more transactions" button and select "Orders", and can also remove orders from Wallet by tapping the trash icon on the order details page.
• To enable order tracking in Google Wallet, users must have Gmail set up with "Google Workspace smart features" and "Smart features in other Google products" enabled in their email account settings.
• The order tracking feature is currently available in the US with support for a "large number of the top US merchants", but may not be displayed for orders from smaller merchants or those outside the US.
